Re: Losing hedgehog tracking after 0.6m

We have 4 stationary beacons mounted horizontally to a plate in a rectangular pattern about 0.3m off the ground. This arrangement is able to track the hedgehog when it is close to the stationary beacons but the tracking drops out at distances greater than 0.6m y or 1.0m x. Here are some dashboard s...

Re: Uncertainty Estimation

Dear Sirs, For some reason, this message has been rejected 2 times with the reason "contains a link to pirate software" which is absurd (I have filled the online form, and there was no link). My question is if there is a way to estimate the uncertainty of the provided position. This estim...

Re: How to get compass data in arduino?

Okay Thank you!! Yes it is from the mobile beacon. How it works is that, these raw distances are inputted to the EKF of ardupilot which then computes the position of the vehicle! https://github.com/ArduPilot/ardupilot/blob/master/libraries/AP_Beacon/AP_Beacon_Marvelmind.cpp#L390 This is why :( Just...

Re: Updating version 4.3 hardware to the latest firmware

Hello. It seems the error on the last screenshot is because of try to upload firmware for HW4.9 into the HW4.5 beacon. Please use the firmware from 'hw45_firmware' directory instead 'hw49_firmware'. If you are sure your hardware is 4.9, please use DFU as noticed by admin. Also it seems you tried to...

Re: Updating version 4.3 hardware to the latest firmware

Hello guys, I am having a similar problem, I have attached my picture below. Only that I am getting the error message for the beacons instead of the modem. Appreciate the help. Hello, Please, use DFU SW update as described in the manual: http://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_navigation_system_manua...

I found the problem, all my software is up to date but I had a fifth beacon I was not using but was still in the network. I removed it (right click -> remove from network) and reset all beacons and now the system is working as usual.

Great!
Thank you for sharing.

Re: Hedgehog not updating properly

I am trying to do a simple indoor test with a hedgehog and 4 beacons. My problem is when I unfreeze the hedgehog goes from its normal solid blue icon to an empty, not filled in one (see screenshot) and updates its position much, much slower than usual. I found that when it does update, it goes to i...

Re: Starting Set of Beacons

Dear Community, I was wondering if there is a way to setup the dashboard and/or Modem, so that it sets the same beacon (i.e 77) at the beginning of the set. In other words, is there a way to make beacon 77 for example, the origin of the map at all times? For our project, we require our setup to be ...
