Re: precise land copter on a truck with marvelmind?

Hello, Yes, it would work, if the base between beacons is large enough - a few meters, hopefully. XY would be good. Z would be good in the far field, but wouldn't be good during landing. For that, we recommend using vertical maps: 4 stationary beacons on the roof and 2 beacons 1-2 meters above the b...

Re: Updates stop when hedgehog is plugged in via USB (SOLVED)

I had a weird situation with a hedgehog connected to a RaspberryPi via USB. When it was stand-alone, it updated its position as usual. But when I plugged it into the RPi via USB, it stopped updating. With the help of the Marvelmind tech support, we figured out what was going on. The hedgehog and mo...

Re: Dashboard - drag and drop the selected submap using the mouse and holding down the CTRL button.

Thank you for your reply. May I know when the next dashboard update for Linux will be available? Best regards, Peter Hi Peter, We thought that we would publish it by now. But the stream of small wishes for the update/corrections is still strong. We expect to test and publish in a couple of weeks. B...

Re: Beacons won´t come up after firmware update

Hi. So, I´m stuck in a problem which came up while trying to fix another problem with the dashboard. The original problem I had was that the map was not working at all. The beacons were detected, the table of distances was working prefectly. It was just the graphical representation of the beacons t...

Re: outdoor use

For outdoor use, it is better to use GPS. Beacons are better suited for indoor navigation , like supermarkets, airports, libraries. If you can live with 5-10m precision and you have open skies, then GPS is the most optimal. If you have open skies and want a cm-level precision, rather than 5-10m at ...

Do you mean compass? Hardly.

Thus, we recommend Paired Beacons SW feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBWUALT3WTQ

Re: LiPo battery voltage

Hi community, From Dashboard software I realized the beacon's battery voltage drops below 3.7v after 1-2 weeks time with average usage time 10mins/day. Will it cause permanent damage to the battery? Or should I just recharge the battery when it is complete flat? Thanks. Cheers, rocklinsuv There are...

Marvelmind and Ardupilot

Here are some Marvelmind - ArduPilot settings. They are not verified by us, but ArduPilot people recommend them, so, I believe, they shall be good: http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-marvelmind.html
