Is it as simple as just connecting the SCL and SDA pins in addition to the usart tx and ground? I have tried this and it seems it is not that simple. Still the question remains... How is heading data transmitted from the mobile beacon when using NMEA protocol? If it is not possible with NMEA protoc...

Hello, 1. Yes, you can use mini-Rx as stationary beacons. But in this case you will need to specify positions of stationary beacons or distances between them manually, because mini-Rx doesn't have ultrasonic emitter, so map can't be build auomatically. 2.
