Re: Working with API in C#

Hello,

Now we have no ready example for working with API in C#
But in previous similar topic you can find some links which may help you connect to dll in C#:

Re: how to get x,y coordinates of hedge on the serial port of arduino?

Hello, I attach two modifications of your code. 1. software11_RX simply filters data from each hedgehog to get only its location and skip location of another hedgehog. So hedgehog1_x1, hedgehog1_y1 will always receive data from only first hedgehog and hedgehog2_x2, hedgehog2_y2 only from second one....

Re: how to get x,y coordinates of hedge on the serial port of arduino?

Hello. This is not a problem but a feature. Locations of all hedgehogs are available from any hedgehog or from modem. You can separate them by address of hedgehog transmitted in offset 22 of the data packet. Please see section 1.1.2 of the protocol: https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_beacon_inte...

Re: Help with communication between a Beacon and an Arduino

Hello, Mobile beacon sends data according to section 2.3.1 of the protocol: https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_beacon_interfaces.pdf For your example it should be sequence of binary bytes like this: 0xff 0x4a 0x01 0x02 0x0c 0x06 0x00 0x03 0x16 0xff 0x20 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 <CRC1> <CRC2...

Re: how to get x,y coordinates of hedge on the serial port of arduino?

Hello, You see strange symbols in serial monitor because incoming data are in binary format. Serial monitor waits for ASCII symbols as I remember. For test, you can try to switch 'Protocol for UART/USB output' to 'NMEA0183' state in dashboard, in this mode mobile beacon will send ASCII strings. But ...

Re: Tracking Multiple Beacons unstable

Hello Such low RSSI may mean the beacon works not on its own radio band. Mini-Tx is working on 915 MHz, and the HW4.9 beacon is also adjusted for 915 MHz, but own frequency of this item may be 433 MHz. Please check the sticker on the bottom of the beacon. Radio band (433 MHz or 915 MHz) is printed o...

Re: No data from hedgehog from in ROS after change to inverse mode

Hello, Sorry for the delayed reply. Some notes: 1. You can't simply reprogram your beacons from HW4.9 starter set to inverse firmware. For inverse system you need HW4.9 beacons with different ultrasonic frequencies as stationary beacons, and Mini-RX (or Industrial-Rx) beacons as mobile beacons. But ...

Re: Code for interfacing Arduino with a hedgehog (using UART)

Hello, We didn't tested Arduino-based robots in Marvelmind. But we have tested all provided Arduino examples of communication with our devices. Many of our customers are building robots based on Arduino and get data from mobile beacons, please read for example this topic: https://marvelmind.com/foru...

Re: how to get x,y coordinates of hedge on the serial port of arduino?

Hello jyS2019, According to your screenshot from dashboard, the map is not successfully built. So mobile beacon is not tracking and it doesn't send its location in this case. Please achieve tracking in dashboard - build and freeze the map and ensure the mobile beacon is updating its position. Then y...
