Re: Distance data using Python API

Hello,
In current version of the Python library parsing of the message withg raw distances is not fully implemented.
The data packet can be detected, but parsing of distances is not executing.
Search the 'isDistancesMessageDetected' in marvelmind.py to find place where this parsing should be inserted.

Re: Transfer data from USB to X, Y, Angle for use

Hello, There are two ways to get angle data: 1. Use paired beacons feature. You need two mobile beacons placed on the same moving object with some distance between them. See section 7.3 of the manual for details: https://marvelmind.com/pics/marvelmind_navigation_system_manual.pdf You will get the he...

Hello, You should freeze the submap before mobile beacon will be able to send its location (and location of other mobile beacons) according to subsection 1.1.2. If one of more of the submaps are not frozen, the modem is in the mode of building map, and it does not measure and report location of mobi...

Re: Problems about modem USB interface

Hello, 1. Commands for changing device address and for reading device control settings require communication with device via radio. So errors may be caused by bad radio connection. Check RSSI values for the beacons, it should be in range -75...-25 dBm for best communication. Try to execute same oper...

Re: Will pairing beacons help eleminate the need for compass?

Hello,
With paired beacons, Marvelmind system provides heading via serial port (in 'Marvelmind' protocol mode, BCN_TYPE= 2 on Pixhawk).
But I'm not sure if the Pixhawk firmware can use these data instead compass.
