Lost tracking data near one beacon

Post by greenworld »

Hi everyone,
I set up a submap with four beacons. The tracking looks good until the mobile beacon closes to beacon 4 (id = 4). There are some abnormal things happen. The tracking is disrupted and lost its position.
Please take a look at some videos: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
And the configuration of beacon 4 as the attached file.
Please give me some instructions to solve this problem.
Thank you.

Hello,

As I see on the screenshot, beacon 4 has only RX1 sensor enabled when map is frozen.
Try to enable all sensors, or at least RX4.
You should disable only unuseful sensors, which are oriented outside of tracking area, for example directly into wall or ceiling.
Check sensors enablng for all stationary beacons.
For mobile beacon, in NIA all sensors should be enabled to allow emit ultrasound in all directions.

Well, thanks for detailed post.

1) As I can see, your beacons placed on walls, but on videos mobile beacon goes out of bounds. Is it really possible? If not, then there is some distances mistake (between stationary beacons), try to check that distances and enter it manually.

2) Not really clear why stationary beacons is too low. We always recommend to place it high on walls for better angle and more reliable tracking.

Check our Placement Manual for installation examples - https://marvelmind.com/pics/Marvelmind_ ... manual.pdf
